As of June 30, 2020 New SmartMusic will be supported in the iPad Safari browser. It will have the same functionality as the New SmartMusic iPad app and increased benefits such as the ability to download WAV files and open shared links.

In accordance with Apple’s new requirements for applications available in the App Store, the New SmartMusic iPad app will no longer be available to download after June 30th and MakeMusic will no longer support the app. Users should then begin accessing web-based SmartMusic through Safari on the iPad.

• New SmartMusic is available in the Safari browser only on iPad, not on desktop.
• Users on Mac/Windows/Chromebook should continue to use Chrome browser.
• No mobile devices (iPhone, Pixel, etc). 
• Safari does not support Web-MIDI. MIDI Assessment will not be compatible on Safari.
