MakeMusic’s Repertoire Development team has been hard at work this month, producing an amazing 83 ensemble titles. Two Suzuki collections and a holiday solo collection were also released.
The SmartMusic development team has been hard at work to bring as much functionality to the iPad application as possible.

Title Comp/Arr/Lyr Ensemble Type Pepper Level Tempest Rising Jones, David Concert Band M Italian Feast Bobrowitz, David Concert Band ME Hope Springs Eternal Poor, Andrew F.Eric Songer, band director from Chaska Middle School West, recently won a $12,000 grant from the national ING Unsung Heroes awards program.

We are hearing more often that teachers are incorporating iPads into their curriculum. In response, MakeMusic made a commitment to bring assignment functionality to the SmartMusic iPad app for the 2013-14 school year.

Last November, over 8000 young adults from 15 counties auditioned for drum corps. They spent countless hours and thousands of dollars in travel expenses over the next several months to hopefully make the corps of their dreams.
