SmartMusic Repertoire Update: April 2018

SmartMusic Repertoire Update: April 2018

This month we’ve added 12 new ensemble titles to the SmartMusic Repertoire Library. Included are pieces for choir, concert band, jazz ensemble, and string orchestra. View the complete list.

Methods and Solos

This month we added a series of three guitar method books from FJHMusic, Young Beginner Guitar Method, Books 1-3.

Also added was Alfred’s Ready Player One (Main Title) from the hit Steven Spielberg film.

Exclusive to New SmartMusic

While the first three volumes of Suzuki Violin (Alfred) remain available in classic SmartMusic, they appear with brand new audio in new SmartMusic. Here the MIDI instrument sounds have been replaced with high-quality audio recordings.

Also, after last month’s repertoire blog post was published we added a title to our free content:  Found/Tonight (Alfred). This mash-up of songs from the Broadway musicals “Hamilton” and “Dear Evan Hansen” was added in support for the March for Our Lives movement.

Don’t Have New SmartMusic Yet?

New SmartMusic now includes exclusive method books, on-screen music for solo titles, a built-in music notation tool for educators, and the ability to upload MusicXML files and create full accompaniments. Now it’s only $39.99/year for teachers and as low as $13.99/year for students.
