We are continually growing the SmartMusic repertoire library. This month we’ve added several large ensemble and solo titles.
Large Ensemble Titles
We’ve added 19 large ensemble pieces for choir, band, jazz ensemble, and orchestra. Among these additions are several of the most popular large ensemble titles in the Alfred Music vaults. These include in-demand classics, like Robert W. Smith’s The Tempest; seasonal favorites such as Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride; and blockbuster film music. Can you get any more “blockbuster” than John Williams’ Star Wars (Main Theme) and Highlights from Harry Potter?
No, you cannot. But you can view the new large ensemble titles.
Solo Repertoire
We’ve also added 60 solo titles, exclusive to new SmartMusic, featuring on-screen music notation. Twenty-three of these titles are from Warner Bros.’ popular voice collection Pathways of Song, Vol. 1.
What’s Next?
We continue to work with publishers around the world to license their music. While popularity is one factor in our prioritization, your input is crucial as well. Are there titles you’d like to see us add to new SmartMusic? Please let us know.
